Sarah Ramsey is a two time Ms Texas, reigning as Ms Texas America 2018, placing Runner-up at Ms America and as Ms Texas United States 2015 placing Top 10 Nationally.
Sarah has been very blessed to work with many charitable and sports organizations in her broad career. Her greatest accomplishment was as PR and Marketing Manager for the City of Houston’s Sports Commission as they brought the Super Bowl and Men’s Final Four to Houston in the same year and won Sports Commission of the Year for Houston with her work as PR Manager for the collegiate Rotary Lombardi Awards for 2014 / 2015.
Sarah had an exciting career in broadcasting accomplishing two firsts for women in the field. While working for ClearChannel Radio Cleveland she was the first female to cover the Cleveland Indians Spring Training she then went on to become the first female Pit-Lane reporter in racing for Champ Car World Series on ESPN and SpeedTV.
Sarah enjoys songwriting and singing and has released a Country album and is currently recording a Christian album. She has sang the National Anthem over 30 times for events including the 2015 NCAA Men’s Regional Basketball game and for the Houston Astros. Sarah’s fondest moment is meeting George and Barbara Bush during her reign and working with the Wade Smith Foundation reading to Houston’s Youth. She shows her support to veterans by singing the Anthem at many Lone Survivor Foundation events and helped to raised $10,000 for Boots For Troops.
Sarah has a wonderful relationship with World Youth Foundation in Houston to staff children for her Foundation Dreams are Reality. Sarah married Caleb Ramsey in December of 2017, sings worship at Woodlands Church and currently works as VP of Consumer Products for Fortis BioPharma.
Chau Nguyen is the Chief Marketing and Development Officer for the Houston Area Women’s Center, tasked with setting the strategic direction and management of all fundraising and communications operations and initiatives for the city’s premiere non-profit support services provider of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Prior to her leadership in the non-profit space, Chau spent 15 years as a television news journalist and last served as an anchor and reporter with KHOU TV. She is the first Vietnamese American journalist to receive an Emmy Award for her documentary series covering a medical mission in Vietnam, and the Houston Press has named her Reporter of the Year.
A native Houstonian, Chau is passionate about staying connected to her community, serving on numerous Boards. She currently sits on the Boards of Catapult and The University of Houston Friends of Women’s Studies, and she is on the advisory board of Houston Achievement Place.
Chau is a Licensed Master Social Worker and holds a Masters of Arts in Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of St. Thomas.
She is frequently asked to emcee events, including Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s Inauguration in 2016. Chau is the proud mother of two young girls, Ryan and Myles, a Yorkie named Peanut, and she is an active member of Unity of Houston.
Tammy Weir is the founder and president of Weir Consulting and is responsible for strategic and operational planning. Tammy leads her team through multi-million dollar projects that involve creating data management procedures, improving the quality of geological and geophysical data, and auditing warehouse inventories. As an adviser to senior management of exploration companies around the globe, she provides direction for project budgets and proposal creation that result in measurable cost-savings.
As a Geoscience data expert with 30 years of experience, Tammy has held various leadership roles with companies in Canada and the United States. She is known for her motivational approach to project management and her ability to inspire collaboration across companies, corporate teams, vendors and partners. Tammy is fiercely motivated to turn aging media and unmanaged data from being a liability to being the most valued asset for exploration companies.
Her family has a long history within the Canadian Military which has driven her to assist in many fund-raising events to support the US and Canadian military. For many years she has supported the Wounded Warrior organization, adopting platoons during the gulf war and currently setting up a trust for PTSD support animals in her brothers honor.
Tammy lives in the Houston Heights area, if she is not out traveling the world she can be found bike riding and enjoying time with her friends.
Mechelle Tran is a partner at Pho Saigon Vietnamese Noodle House. She joined her family business in 2007 and helped with its expansion. She just opened another location in Pearland, TX.
She is also a partner at Riel Restaurant, a modern American concept which opened in Montrose in 2017.
Mechelle came here from Vietnam as a refugee, as a child, she spent 4 years in refugee camps in the Philipines and Malaysia. She has a 13 year old son who plays piano, cello, and viola, and enjoys community service.
Mechelle believes in perseverance and integrity. She also stands behind the importance of charity work. She has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Houston, and a Master in Education from St. Thomas University.
Grace Gibson is a Talent Buyer for Live Nation and House of Blues in Houston. She recently relocated from New York City, where she booked a historic music venue on the Lower East Side of Manhattan called Arlene’s Grocery. Over the last decade, her career has taken her to Austin, Washington DC and NYC, but she couldn’t be happier to be back in her hometown.
Born and raised in Montrose, Grace is an alumna of the High School for Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) Vocal Music Department. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business from the University of Texas at Austin.
Grace is passionate about Houston’s local art, music and entertainment communities. She spends most of her free time enjoying concerts, eating chips and queso at Irma’s and cycling at RYDE.

Rochelle Deiso is a fashion and lifestyle blogger out of Houston, Texas. She is also a former professionally trained ballerina most recently with the Miami City Ballet school and a graduate of the University of Miami School of Business. With a background in dance, she was also an NFL cheerleader with the Miami Dolphins during the 2009-2010 season. Araz Garakanian is an Engineer in the oil and gas industry having worked several basins across the United States for major oil and gas companies. During her career, she has been responsible for optimizing oil and gas production through performance monitoring, enhancing field operations, evaluating project economics, and improving underperforming wells. She has demonstrated excellent planning and execution as well as project management across engineering, finance and marketing disciplines.
Growing up in Houston, Araz had a very curious mind and a deep interest in science and entrepreneurship so she received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Business Foundations Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin. Hook ‘em horns!
Araz is also a Houston-based food and lifestyle blogger. Her blog stemmed from her passion for food and the frustration of feeling that Houston never received enough credit for the amazing and extremely diverse food it has to offer. There is no shortage of delicious restaurants and places that can be found on her instagram page (@houstoneateries) and she prides herself in promoting places she absolutely loves and believes in. She enjoys how blogging has allowed her to promote the Houston culinary scene and tremendously appreciates the amazing friends she has met through her blog and events she attends around the city.
Although born and raised in Houston, Araz is extremely proud of her Armenian heritage, especially due to the fact that she is the great-granddaughter of Armenian Genocide survivors. Armenian was her first language so she fluently speaks, reads and writes in her native tongue.
Araz is a very active person so she enjoys the outdoors and working out everyday (due to demand from her followers she often posts videos of her workouts on her IG page). She also loves traveling the world, therefore, she is constantly planning her next trip. A few of her other hobbies include playing the piano and the clarinet and spending time with her family.
Gayle Brand’s career in the title industry began when she accepted a job as a receptionist at a smaller title company while she was finishing her degree at the University of Houston. Gayle has been with Chicago Title since 1995 and was promoted to President in 2007. Under her direction Chicago Title Houston has expanded their geographic footprint in the Houston area, growing both strategically and organically to better serve the customers’ needs.
