Miss Texas United States 2019- Yesenia Yvette Guerrero

Yesenia Guerrero is a native of La Joya, Texas. She is certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with a passion for teaching others the importance of heart health and staying active. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley and is in the process of opening her own gym to better serve her community’s needs.

Yesenia’s platform is ‘Pump It Up: Combating Heart Disease’. With heart disease being the leading cause of death in the United States, she plans to spend her year as Miss Texas United States 2019 advocating for this cause.

She has a love for dance and has performed professionally for 5 years with the Snake Charmers Dance Team for the NBA G-League team, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. She loves to powerlift and can lift more than twice her own body weight. She enjoys singing in the choir and teaching classes at her church, traveling, reading, spending time with her family and being a furmom to her dogs, Bruce Wayne and Belle and her cats, Kovu and Kiara.


Mrs Texas United States 2019- Lindsay Closson

Lindsay Closson is a graduate of San Diego State University where she earned her bachelors degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. After a successful career in sales with Hyatt Hotels, as well as a six year personal battle through infertility, she is currently a stay-at-home-mom to her two year old son Caiden. Lindsay enjoys staying active with Fit4Moms as well as supporting & volunteering with the non-profit Braving Infertility Together. 

Lindsay has been married to her husband Brady for eleven years and they are proud residents of the City of Grapevine.


Ms Woman Texas United States 2019- Tien Davis

Then currently works with the Peace of Mind foundation and on her own platform., "Love Wins” whose mantra is: Be humble, Be courageous, Be kind. Love WILL win every time” is a youth mentoring program for those who have been victims of school-aged bullying. She spent the duration of her time in graduate school researching and focusing her studies on the adverse effects of one of the largest issues plaguing our youth, both here in the United States and globally. She not only is passionate about helping our youth, but was also a victim from an early age well into adulthood and knows firsthand the damage that it leaves. By doing so, she is making a bigger impact on her local community and is a voice for those struggling with mental health issues. Her goal is to continue working on her personal platform and elevate it to a national level.

Tien is a huge advocate of living a healthy lifestyle and staying fit is a priority in her life. After spending over two decades working out in traditional gyms, she entered the world of CrossFit 5 ½ years ago and was instantly hooked. Since starting, she has entered numerous local Crossfit competitions. She consistently places in the top 10 and has won two individual competitions and 3 partner/team competitions. Her most recent win was the weekend after being crowned Ms. Woman Texas United States where she and her partner swept the competition.


Ms. Texas United States 2019- Tracy Bowman

Tracy is passionate about overall health and wellness. She strives to motivate and educate her community in lifelong, maintainable wellness practices. Tracy brings light to all aspects of lifestyle awareness in her community by getting involved in fun and exciting activities and initiatives throughout the state of Texas, including but not limited to, the Where To-Next Race, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Brobe, Charity Miles, the NFL and many more. In an effort to spread her platform internationally, Tracy will be going to Honduras in the fall in support of underprivileged residents. The charities Tracy supports include NFL Play 60, The JJ Watt Foundation, & Humanity & Hope United Foundation.

Tracy has always been an outdoorsy girl and loves all sports and activities. Among her favorite hobbies are basketball, dancing, horseback riding, traveling, and baking her famous cinnamon vanilla Amish Cream Pie. She also enjoys a good scavenger hunt and the many forms of baby animal yoga, including goat, kitten and puppy. One achievement that is especially meaningful to Tracy is that she was a duel sport athlete in college and maintained a 4.0 GPA.

Tracy is extremely grateful to her parents for instilling in her the value of an education. As a result, she graduated with honors with a Masters degree in Health & Recreation, and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education. She truly enjoys learning, and plans to head back to school to complete her PhD in Healthcare Administration.


Miss Teen Texas United States 2019- Portland Tidwell

Portland is a 19 year old who just completed her Freshman year at at San Antonio College. She plans on transferring to The University of Texas at San Antonio.  Her ambition is to obtain a secondary degree and continue her education in Broadcasting and Communications. 

She is involved in many activities on and off campus. A native San Antonian, she is locally involved in many leadership roles. You can find Portland as a lead mentor for character acting and understudy involved in theater and drama.  She is an entrepreneur who owns and operates “Pretty Princess Portland”- a singing princess business in which she attends birthday parties at the request of the birthday girl's favorite princess. Portland also donates many hours to children's hospitals and fundraising events. She is a proud active member of the Bexar County Young Democrats and the founder of Cinderella's Closet. Cinderella's Closet is set up to collect and gather gently used formal dresses along with shoes and even make-up . Portland brings these items to a title one high school and hands out these donations to young ladies that would otherwise not be able to attend their prom.  

She has had many accomplishments thus far, some in music ministry and cantor, as well as best supporting actress award for Texas Private and Parochial Schools and a cast member of the community theater. She was inducted into the National Thespian Society and is an active member of IMDB for actors and actresses. She landed the lead actress playing the role of Julia in the award winning short Film “What is Love “- raising awareness about physical and verbal teen relationship abuse .

Portland is a 5 time title holder and obtained over 2,256 community services hours in 2016-2019.

Portland’s platform is Club C- 100% Caring for 100% Courage. Portland feels that it is imperative that our first responders feel assured that their families will be taken care of in the event they are called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice, the loss of their life. Club C holds informational meetings in cities and counties around Texas and aids in the process of building and opening chapters across the state.  Club C also visits schools and talks to students about the care and courage first responders demonstrate as a part of their profession. 

Club C feels strongly that fundraising is an essential part in the success of all 100 Club chapters. Without funds, the ability to help families left behind is not possible so actively and aggressively finding sponsors, holding fund raisers and growing membership in existing chapters is crucial.  Portland is also a proud  member of the Canary Islanders Descent Association (CIDA).

Most recently portland was Nominated for Student of the Year by Karen Grace, Kens 5. Also, she has been offered a 3 month internship as an anchor on KENS TV. Most recently Portland was chosen to write a monthly column in San Antonio Monthly Magazine that intertwines fitness and healthy living.  

This is the 5th Crown and title for Portland, in her own words Portland says “ Being a titleholder pushes me outside my comfort zone. It requires me to implement ideas, beliefs, and goals that I may not otherwise think about or act upon. I am a more involved, informed, and confident person because I have chosen to be a part of  Pageantry.”


Miss Junior Teen Texas United States 2019- Genevieve Vallejo

Genevieve is passionate about ending hunger and ensuring no child goes to bed hungry. She is captain of her school’s cheer squad and loves playing basketball. In her free time, she enjoys playing her clarinet and collecting anything with avocado prints.

Genevieve is also an All American Scholar and an 8th grader. When Genevieve witnessed her grandmother’s battle with cancer she decided it was her mission to one day find a cure for cancer.

Miss Pre-Teen Texas United States 2019- Larissa Rodriguez

Larissa Nicole Rodriguez is the reigning Miss Pre-Teen Texas United States. She lives in Weslaco, TX with her father, mother, younger brother, and pet dog and cat.

In school, Larissa is an All A Honor Student who excels in reading, math and science. She is a member of the Silva Jr. Light House Leadership Team, UIL Music Memory Team, and was a drummer for her school’s Christmas concert. Larissa is an avid reader who enjoys all types of books; her favorite series is the Harry Potter Series by J.K Rowling.

Larissa has a passion for working with animals and is a registered animal shelter volunteer for The Laurie P. Andrews Animals Center and Palm Valley Animal Center, where she frequently volunteers her time walking dogs and socializing cats. Her platform is Shelter Pet Advocacy and she aspires to give all animals a voice and help them find their “forever furry homes”. Larissa uses social media to advocate for the shelter animals she visits, educate others of important campaigns and events in the community, and to inspire others to find their passion for service. She also volunteers with RGV Food Bank, Texas Adopt-A-Beach Clean-up, Flip-Flop to the World, Operation Christmas Child, the McAllen Rainbow Room, Inspirational Pets of South Texas, Dairy Queen Sharyland, and Recycled Rovers and Friends No Kill Animal Shelter. She recently organized a canned food and blanket drive for Recycled Rovers and Friends and collected over 100 items for the No-kill animal rescue, as well as over 125 flip-flops for Flip-Flop to the world that were donated to an orphanage in Puerto Rico.

When Larissa is not volunteering in her community you can find her traveling across the state working print modeling jobs or on the cheer mat with her level 3 all-star cheer team.

Larissa’s future ambitions include attending Texas Woman’s University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and then Texas A&M University to obtain a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.


Little Miss Texas United States 2019- Ayssa Guerra

Crowns aren’t made of rhinestones. They are made of discipline, determination, and a hard to find alloy called courage. Words that Ayssa lives by today. She is a 9 year old who is ready to work hard, raise awareness against bullying and represent our great lone star state!  Born and raised from Mcallen Tx, she is your Little Miss Texas United States. One fun fact about her is that she does CrossFit and she knows how to dye and style her mom’s hair since she was raised in her mom’s hair salon. Dez and Barbie are her two lovable cocker spaniels who she loves so much. She is an only child who loves to volunteer at her local children’s hospital and oncology clinic for kids. When her name was called at the state pageant her heart jumped out of her chest and she was forever thankful for this amazing opportunity! She cannot wait to see what this year as your little Miss Texas United States will bring!
